Pentagon Eyes Massive 'WindRunner' Aircraft for Military Transport

Radia is developing the WindRunner, set to become the world's largest aircraft at 356 feet long with a 261-foot wingspan, initially designed to transport oversized wind turbine blades. The company has now engaged with the Department of Defense through a cooperative research and development agreement with US Transportation Command, as the aircraft's capabilities align with military transport needs.
