Utah's approximately 169,300 food stamp recipients have not received any November benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), while recipients in several other states managed to receive full payments. According to Utah's Department of Workforce Services, the state plans to distribute 65% of November's SNAP funding to eligible households following guidance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The partial distribution will require several days to implement as officials configure their systems.
