An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer, Victor Mojica, was reinstated to active duty less than 72 hours after being placed on administrative leave for an incident captured on camera. The September incident, which showed Mojica physically pushing a woman to the ground at a New York immigration court, initially prompted the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to announce his suspension. However, Mojica returned to work before the DHS Office of Inspector General had completed its review of the case.
