President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he has commuted the prison sentence of former Republican Congressman George Santos. Santos had been sentenced to more than seven years in prison earlier this year after pleading guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges. The commutation resulted in Santos' immediate release from custody.
