Two Portland residents were taken into custody during a demonstration outside a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in South Portland. According to the Portland Police Bureau, the arrests occurred Friday evening when protesters gathered in the street, blocking traffic in the area. Police officers directed demonstrators to relocate to the sidewalk to allow for normal traffic flow.
