Firefighter with Pending U-Visa Detained During Wildfire Response

A longtime Oregon resident working as a firefighter was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol while responding to a wildfire in Washington state's Olympic National Forest. The individual, who has lived in the United States for 19 years since arriving at age 4, was one of two firefighters detained during operations at the Bear Gulch Fire.
