Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has dismissed Lieutenant General Jeffrey Kruse from his position as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The removal follows a DIA assessment regarding U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities that reportedly indicated limited damage, which contrasted with statements about the operation's effectiveness. Two senior Navy leaders were also removed from their positions during this leadership change.
