A bipartisan coalition has announced a new effort to amend the Illinois Constitution to reform how state legislative districts are drawn. The initiative, led by former White House chief of staff William Daley and former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, marks the third such attempt since 2014 to reduce partisan influence in the redistricting process.
