A comprehensive user experience study by UK-based tech company Prolific has ranked 27 AI models based on public opinion, with Google's Gemini 2.5-Pro emerging as the clear winner while ChatGPT placed eighth. The study, called Humaine, evaluated the experiences of 21,352 participants across both the United Kingdom and the United States, breaking down results by age, ethnicity, and political affiliation. This approach differs from traditional AI benchmarking by focusing on user experience rather than technical performance metrics.
