Japan Plans Major Military Exercise with US and Australia

Japan is preparing to conduct extensive military exercises involving its Air, Ground, and Maritime Self-Defense Forces from October 20 to 31, with participation from the United States and Australia. The large-scale operation will deploy approximately 52,300 Japanese personnel, 4,180 vehicles, 60 ships, and 310 aircraft across Japanese territory, including U.S. military facilities and surrounding waters. The United States will contribute about 5,900 personnel while Australia will send approximately 230 personnel to enhance trilateral cooperation.
