Border Patrol Operations in Chicago Face Judicial Restrictions

U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino described operations in Chicago as "going very violent" during federal immigration enforcement activities in the city's Southwest Side. The statement came on the same day that agents fired pepper balls at a vehicle in Gage Park and pointed rifles in Little Village while local residents protested their presence. These actions occurred as part of an immigration enforcement initiative called "Operation Midway Blitz."
