Judge Rules Habba Not Legally Serving as Acting US Attorney

A federal judge has ruled that Alina Habba, who previously served as President Donald Trump's personal attorney, is not legally serving as the acting US Attorney for New Jersey. Judge Matthew Brann of the Middle District of Pennsylvania issued the ruling on Thursday after reviewing challenges to Habba's authority. The judge concluded that Habba must be disqualified from participating in ongoing cases due to her lack of legal qualification to exercise the functions of the office.
