VA Hospitals Receive High Marks in Federal Quality Review

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that 77 percent of its evaluated hospitals received four or five stars in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' 2025 hospital quality ratings. According to the VA's report released on August 29, none of the rated VA facilities received the lowest score in the evaluation. The ratings measure several factors including mortality, safety of care, readmission rates, patient experience, and timely treatment.
