Chilean Investigators Dismantle Tren de Aragua Gang as Trump Designates It Terrorist Group

Chilean prosecutors have successfully dismantled a branch of Tren de Aragua, a transnational criminal organization that President Donald Trump recently designated as a foreign terrorist group. The investigation in Arica, Chile resulted in 34 convictions in March, with additional cases leading to 300 years of combined prison sentences for a dozen gang leaders earlier this month. Investigators utilized financial records, surveillance, and other evidence to establish the gang's organizational structure and criminal activities.
