South Korea Reaches Deal with US on Workers Detained at Georgia Plant

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted an operation at a Georgia manufacturing plant that resulted in the detention of 475 individuals, according to American immigration authorities. The operation targeted a facility under construction where Hyundai has partnered with LG Energy Solution to produce electric vehicle batteries. The site has been described by Georgia officials as the state's largest economic development project.
