Rhode Island Man Arrested for Online Threats Against President Trump

A 37-year-old Rhode Island resident, Carl Montague, was taken into custody Wednesday on federal charges related to threatening statements made online against President Donald Trump and other administration officials. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Rhode Island, Montague faces multiple charges including making threats against the president, interstate threats, and threats to assault, kidnap, or murder a U.S. official. The case is being investigated by the FBI, Secret Service, and Providence police.
