Sen. Whitehouse Investigates Industry Influence on EPA Climate Policy

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, ranking Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, has initiated an investigation into industry influence on the Environmental Protection Agency's proposed repeal of the 2009 greenhouse gas endangerment finding. Whitehouse has requested documents from 24 organizations, including the American Petroleum Institute, the Heritage Foundation, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, setting a September 30 deadline for submission.
