SpaceX successfully launched 21 satellites into low Earth orbit on October 15, 2025, as part of the U.S. Space Force's Space Development Agency (SDA) Transport Layer network. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, marking the second deployment for this military communications system. These satellites represent the second plane of Tranche 1 for the Transport Layer, which forms part of the Pentagon's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture initiative.
